TranSend Solutions becomes Civica

Civica Group strengthens offering to transport sector with full integration of specialist cloud software provider

Civica, a global leader in software for public services, has enhanced its market position in the transport sector with the full integration and rebrand of TranSend Solutions, following its acquisition in February 2019.

The TranSend cloud software, which includes leading solutions for electronic point of delivery and route planning, now forms part of Civica’s enlarged Transport business. 

This places the organisation in an even stronger position to maximise efficiency for customers in supply chain delivery and collection management, and complements its existing fleet management software, Tranman

Civica’s cloud software provides a modern mobile app for integrated delivery management and supports a comprehensive customer base from transport to waste management. It is used by operators, subcontractors, agency drivers and mobile workers to improve operational efficiency and reduce the cost, time and paper involved in managing deliveries and collections. The cloud software streamlines the entire process from creating routes to invoicing and driver debrief. 

Since acquisition, the business has grown its customer base to more than 75, including CLEAN, Brighthouse, Wessex Water and Wincanton.
