Bellevue Place Education Trust moves to the cloud with Civica

London-based Trust chooses Civica’s cloud software, Education FinancialsLIVE, to improve centralised finances and support future expansion

Bellevue Place Education Trust (BPET) has agreed a new partnership with Civica, an international leader in software for public services, to implement its latest cloud software, Education FinancialsLIVE.

The Trust will gain greater insight into its finances via one centralised cloud system, both saving time and efficiently supporting future growth.

BPET launched with a single Free School in February 2012 and has since expanded to open and maintain seven primary Free Schools across London. With more than 1,400 pupils and 220 employees, the Trust is on an ambitious growth path, intending to grow to around 15 primary schools in and across London.

An existing user of Civica’s Resource 32000, the cloud software will help BPET to reduce administration time and effort, digitise the Trust’s paper trail and make informed decisions based on accurate data.

The software will improve financial transparency across the Trust, providing a consolidated financial view and the ability to drill down and see what is being spent where, alongside offering improved bank reconciliation facilities.

Amanda Burgess, Head of Finance at BPET commented: “We’ve chosen to move to Civica’s Education FinancialsLIVE cloud software as it will provide everything we need to support our future growth. Importantly, it complies with the Education and Skills Funding Agency’s new Chart of Accounts to help us stay ahead of changing regulation.

As an expanding Trust in a growing area of the country, we want to be ahead of the curve in terms of the software we use and embrace the latest technology to support our employees and pupils. We already enjoy a great relationship with Civica and are confident they are the best partner to support us on our future digital journey.”

Simon Wilde, Managing Director for Education at Civica added: “We’re delighted to continue to work with BPET to help the Trust meet its goal to provide the highest standards of education for pupils. At a time when schools are under increasing budgetary pressures, our cloud financial software will help increase efficiencies and improve outcomes for both BPET’s existing schools and those set to join in the future.”

Civica is an international leader in working with schools to improve teaching, learning and administration. It delivers education management and business software for more than 7,000 schools, colleges and libraries globally, supporting over a million students and employees. Civica’s cloud software provides improvements, efficiencies and security with an integrated view of finances and resources.

This latest Education FinancialsLIVE partnership follows a recent agreement with Batley Multi-Academy Trust in West Yorkshire.
