University of Exeter prioritises usability of a new HR system

University of Exeter chose Civica to put the electronic performance development (ePDR) system through usability testing. It was critical that the new system would meet the users’ needs to carry out performance assessments and record goals for personal development easily with minimal time spent.

Outcomes:

  • 4,000 staff use the system 
  • 64 Issues identified and proposals for resolving them 
  • Knowledge gained applied elsewhere in the university
