North & East Housing Association Ireland partners with Civica to help deliver a better tenant experience

Civica’s cloud-based digital platform for social housing will integrate internal systems, improving automation and efficiencies for the Association

North & East Housing Association has agreed a new four-year partnership with Civica, a market leader in business-critical software, digital solutions and managed services, to implement its cloud-based digital platform, Cx Housing.

Primarily a general needs housing provider, North & East Housing Association operates in north-east Ireland. Now in its 25th anniversary year, the Association has a strategic plan to increase the number of homes managed by 40% by 2020. A key part of the strategy is a greater focus on delivering multi-channel services to improve tenant engagement and transform customer experience.

The Association chose Civica’s digital Cx Housing and asset management platform to create a single view of its housing and tenant information, streamline processes and maintain records which could integrate seamlessly with its financial system. This will provide North & East with deeper business insight, enabling more informed decision making.

By integrating asset management data, North & East will have a customer-centric, single-view of all tenant and property interactions including inventory breakdown, repairs management and maintenance programme scheduling. The software will also streamline the data, providing improved management reporting for more intelligent data insights and external regulatory compliance.

The increased automation provided will reduce the administrative burden on employees and increase productivity by allowing people more time to focus on core operational objectives. 

Civica’s Cx Housing digital platform allows employees to work anytime, anywhere using any device with access to real-time information, ensuring a better customer experience. Using mobile technology, employees can now update essential information while out in the community, improving agile working, reducing commuting costs and enabling a greater work-life balance.
