Civica builds on cloud-centric strategy with continued success on latest G-Cloud Framework
The Civica Group, a market leader in business-critical software applications, digital solutions and managed services, continues to progress its cloud-centric strategy, with new product introductions and more than 260 products and services added to the latest iteration of the UK government’s G-Cloud procurement framework.
Civica is focused on delivering business-critical cloud offerings to include its own software applications and digital solutions alongside consultancy and enablement services which help customers to successfully move applications and infrastructure to the cloud.
With adoption of cloud platforms increasingly seen as a critical foundation for digital transformation and a new generation of digital public services, the company continues to build its cloud-focused portfolio in response to increasing customer momentum in its markets. With an expanded portfolio of specialist software and services, Civica already provides cloud software and services for more than 700 organisations.
Civica is working with its customers to manage cloud procurement and migration processes, whether to private or public cloud environments, or a combination of both. It is also managing those destination environments; services offered to meet demand, where the in-house skills and resources required to ensure successful migration and deployment may be in short supply.
Civica now has more than 260 products and services available to purchase via the Digital Marketplace – an increase of more than 20 per cent, with a broad range across cloud software, hosting and support services.
For those customers using public cloud platforms, Civica offers its Cloud Optimisation Service, which increases governance and guarantees maximum value from their public cloud spend across multiple platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google.
The latest Civica products and services to launch and be available on G-Cloud include:
• FinancialsLIVE – cloud-based financial software for local public services
• Fully managed and cloud-based versions of Civica’s Health & Care products for contract and income management (SLAM) and patient level costing and service line reporting (CostMaster)
• Application Modernisation and Optimisation; a new service which supports customers as they deploy modern technologies and cloud services to ensure improved user experience and reduced risk whilst maximising performance of existing applications.
A cloud-enabled approach has become the preferred model for many of Civica’s products, with customers seeking the benefits of assurance, efficiency and agility that cloud-based services can deliver. Forthcoming products to be launched by Civica will include financial solutions for the social housing sector and safeguarding, compliance and financial software for education.
Wayne Story, Civica CEO, commented: “Through our increased focus on innovation and modern cloud-based solutions, we’re helping our customers to achieve greater flexibility, agility and cost benefits while playing a major role in supporting their technology-based transformation and the re-invention of essential business services.
“Our full range of products and services on the G-Cloud framework will allow us to support our customers as they continue to migrate and maximise their investments in cloud technology and support their digital transformation journeys, both now and in the future.”
