Civica expands community care platform with launch of CarelinkAir Roster

The cloud-based platform improves data accuracy for rostering and enables more time for client engagement

SYDNEY, 19 November 2019: Civica, a global leader in cloud software for public services, is today launching CarelinkAir Roster, the latest module in its leading edge solution for Australian community care organisations.

This functionality builds on the current CarelinkAir web-based offering which allows staff to access digital forms from the field. By using CarelinkAir, care staff can reduce data entry duplication and save time, enabling them to spend more of their time on client needs. The platform is currently used by community care organisations around Australia including KARI, an indigenous support services provider, and national disability services provider for young people, Lifestyle Solutions.

Meagan McLean, Quality Assurance Officer, KARI says, “CarelinkAir enables us to meet our documentation requirements in the most efficient way possible, enabling our staff to spend more time supporting vulnerable children and young people.”

The CarelinkAir Roster cloud solution enables care workers in the field to view, create, move, approve and cancel shifts from any mobile device. The new module was designed in partnership with existing users and expands on Civica’s mission to increase efficiencies for Australian community care organisations and provide accurate employee and client data that can be accessed anywhere and at anytime.

Craig Porte, Managing Director, Civica Care says, “CarelinkAir Roster follows the successful take-up of CarelinkAir. Moving one of the biggest administration tasks in people’s roles to the cloud has been a critical step in our evolution of CarelinkAir and we have enjoyed the process of working closely with our customers to meet the specific needs of carers, clients, and administrators.

“We look forward to welcoming our first organisations to the new module and delivering benefits that address real business needs.”

Craig Bolton, IT Coordinator, Multitask, who was involved in the design focus groups, says that being a part of the development of CarelinkAir Roster has been exciting. “It’s great to have been involved in the development of this new module through focus group suggestions and feedback. Knowing that Civica is taking on board the recommendations from people who will use the product means that CarelinkAir could change the way we use Carelink forever – now, and in the future.”

Sam DeAngelis, Business Process Analyst and Trainer, genU, also a focus group participant, says, “The CarelinkAir focus group has been a fantastic way for stakeholders to be involved in future product development. The focus group has a wide cross section of community organisations and has allowed us as a business to be involved, along with other stakeholders, and have a say in the development of products that address our business needs.”
