VisionWare becomes Civica Master Data Management

Civica Group increases capability across global markets and strengthens digital offering for customers with the UK integration of the master data management specialist

Civica, the market leader in business-critical software, digital solutions and managed services for the public sector and regulated markets, has strengthened its highly complementary capability across its global market position with the UK integration and re-branding of the former VisionWare business, following its acquisition in May 2018.

Together, Civica now has a stronger capability to help customers across local and regional government, housing and healthcare extract maximum business value from their data, with the opportunity to expand this further through key opportunities including digital services, cloud software, data analytics and insight and machine learning.

As part of an integrated capability, Civica’s MultiVue platform provides a comprehensive master data management (MDM) solution that is highly complementary to the company’s broad range of business critical, cloud-enabled software applications: helping drive a single-view of customers, citizens and patients for modern, efficient, data-driven services.

Master data is a major enabler for digital business platforms and a key technology to underpin the move to the cloud. The integration will support Civica’s position in digitally transforming public services through software technology and intelligent automation. The MultiVue platform will continue to provide innovative MDM solutions for local and regional government, housing and the healthcare sector in both the UK and the USA. MultiVue includes modules to enable improved data integration, enrichment and synchronisation, with added CRM tools and Microsoft Dynamics functionality to integrate with multiple lines of business. With customers including North Lanarkshire Council, Ealing Council and City of Wolverhampton Council, the acquisition has further enhanced the company’s strategic partnership with Hull City Council.

The integration further enhances the Group’s complementary digital capability, with an established record of providing digital and cloud-based solutions as a trusted partner for more than 1,000 organisations across central and local government, health care, financial services and transport.
