Civica boosts Vadodara presence to support further international growth
Civica, a market leader in business-critical software applications, digital solutions and managed services has announced the expansion of its offices in Vadodara, India with the capacity to accommodate a further 150 colleagues
With 375% growth in colleague numbers over the past two years, this latest investment will extend the capability of Civica’s existing teams across a range of technical specialties including Cloud Services, AI and Analytics along with commercial and people development, accelerating time to market for products and services and supporting future growth to 2020 and beyond.
Following its acquisition in 2016, Civica’s development centre in Vadodara offers modern application development, innovation, support and testing services, providing an important platform for the company’s continued business growth. The team has also recently added capabilities to extend internal functions including marketing, people, commercial and organisational development, to support the Group’s consistent global operating platform.
The move to the brand new Notus Pride offices in Vadodara, three times bigger than the company’s previous offices, will enable 150 additional employees to join Civica – allowing it to expand service delivery and technological developments. The new premises will offer state-of-the-art flexible meeting rooms to encourage collaboration, spacious recreational areas and work space for more than 370 people, all with full integration and access to Civica’s global network.
This latest investment will also help support Civica around the globe by providing an expanding resource pool whilst also improving service delivery across the business via consistent software development and support practices.
Tony Hughes, Chief Product Officer, Civica, commented: “We’re delighted to be expanding our presence in Vadodara as we continue to grow and invest to sustain our global capability and ensure a scalable platform for our business. Vadodara provides vital skills, experience and expertise to the Group, particularly in the delivery of our full suite of cloud and on-premises critical software applications, supporting our reputation and assisting our strong track record of growth.”
Simon MacDowall, UK Director of India added: “We continue with investments to develop and support our diverse teams around the world, and this latest expansion to our Vadodara office will enable us to extend our market-leading software and digital services capability even further. We look forward to welcoming all our Civica employees to our new location.”
The office move will be marked with an inauguration ceremony celebrating diversity on 24 September 2018.
