Civica supports a number of charities and partnerships where our people, skills and technology can help create lasting impact in the communities we serve.

This enables Civica to focus on charities and organisations that make a difference to people, including the next generation of tech engineers and professionals.

It also helps deliver change that ensures children and young people have no barriers to success and, as adults, that their careers and mental health wellbeing are fully supported.

Digit<all>

Through creative computing workshops, climate-themed tech resources and teacher and community leader training, Digit<all> is breaking down barriers to digital access.

The work supports hundreds of thousands of young people each year to build skills, confidence, and a sense of agency; in schools, communities, and beyond.

We support Digit as a corporate partner, sharing Civica’s skills, resources and expertise through our Days of Difference initiative where our employees can volunteer for various projects that directly support Digit’s impact. To break down the digital barriers, we also provide tools and equipment required to practice digital skills in schools such as laptops.

School Of Hard Knocks (SOHK)

Its mission is to empower young people through sport, to realise their full potential and build a society where every child has an equal opportunity to succeed.

SOHK exists to support children who are facing inequality and enable meaningful change in a young person's life.

Our support to SOHK includes a formal corporate partnership, funding in school programmes impacting hundreds of students across the UK. We partner on volunteering projects utilising Civica’s skills, expertise and employee’s time through Days of Difference to support SoHK’s goals.

HIMvisible

HIMvisible provides space and opportunity for men to talk about their current emotions and mental health issues, demonstrating that talking can make a big difference.

The charity’s aim is to make sure that no man should suffer invisibly with their thoughts or feelings of hopelessness. .

SheCanCode

Civica is a global tech partner for this fast-growing global community dedicated to closing the gender gap in technology.

SheCanCode was founded in 2016 and operates a vibrant space where members connect, share knowledge and access the latest insights, guidance and events shaping the future of women in tech.

With more than 300,000 users worldwide and an active network of more than 4,000 women in tech, SheCanCode offers mentorship programmes, university partnerships and support for non-profit initiatives that help women build rewarding and sustainable careers in technology.

Our partnership will support greater inclusion across the tech sector by helping more women explore, develop and progress careers in technology through access to mentoring, learning, networking and professional development opportunities.
