About the foundation
Find out how the Civica Foundation supports charities, communities and organisations through various activities, including fundraising and volunteering, to enable Civica and our people to support causes that make a positive difference to society.
The Civica Foundation is where we and our people come together to provide direct and financial support to charities and the communities in which we live.
As a business, we’re committed to making a positive difference to the lives of citizens around the world. The Civica Foundation's mission is no different.
Charity support and partnerships
Civica has a number of charity partners and third-party partnerships to support people and initiatives, with a particular focus on the tech sector and building the next generation of tech professionals.
Our partner charities, non-profit organisations and social care initiatives receive a wide range of support, including direct financial support through donations and fundraising, expert support and advice from our people, and sharing awareness.
Days of Difference
Days of Difference enables our people take time away from their work to support schools, charities, food banks or even donate blood.
This initiative encourages our colleagues to volunteer up to three days each year (via hours or days) to go out into the community and make a difference.

On Thursday 6th July, I used half a Day of Difference to go on to my local radio station and promote parkrun as well as the process for starting your own parkrun. We discussed the benefits of parkrun and how it’s widely promoted by the NHS in keeping the community fit and healthy.
