Steve has been driving our sustained growth in the health and care sector, both organically and through acquisition, since 2019. Steve has a wealth of management insight and experience, and was previously UK MD for healthcare solutions provider Allscripts, and prior to that held senior roles at Computer Sciences Corporation and Cerner Corporation.
Paul Sanders
VP of Sales
Paul is responsible for the commercial function for Civica Health & Care. Supporting customers across the UK and Canada with solutions including EPR, ePrescribing, clinical and financial information management. He is an experienced and dynamic leader who has a track record for delivering business transformation. Paul has provided software and BPO solutions to the NHS, working with over 50 NHS Trusts delivering changes to their clinical systems.
He continues to work with health & care organisations bringing solutions together to support their digital transformation strategies. He is passionate about driving change through innovation, integration and automation ensuring front-line workers have the right information at the right time enabling assured decisions and positive actions are taken all along the care pathway.
Paula Ridd
VP of Product and Development
Paula has 20 years’ delivery experience across health and care, and is responsible for health and care strategy, and for the portfolio of capabilities across the Civica Health and Care business. She is also accountable for the investment spend across all Civica’s health and care solutions. An essential part of Paula’s role is to join up technologies and best practice across health and social care, with Civica’s software platforms widespread across the NHS, private practice and the care home sector.
With a proven ability to lead and drive change at all levels in an organisation, Paula has wide experience across senior roles in the health and care sector; notably as Global Head of Product Management (Health Care) at CSC and General Manager, UKI at Allscripts/Altera.
Passionate about supporting women across the technology sector, Paula is also the Chair of the Women In Civica Affinity Group.
Colin French
VP of Services
Colin has over 20 years’ experience working in the healthcare sector helping customers to deliver better patient outcomes. Along with extensive experience in service delivery, including managing cross-functional, on-shore, and remote delivery teams, Colin also builds enduring customer relationships at all levels and has successfully grown the Civica health business in Ireland and Wales.
Prior to joining Civica, Colin was the Northern Ireland Business Manager for HP Enterprise Services managing a large team of project and services professionals with executive responsibility for all public sector and commercial accounts in the region.
Vipul Patel
VP of Support
Vipul has over 20 years’ experience supporting Public Sector clients within the Technology space. He joined Civica in 2016 and has held senior leadership roles in the Central Government and Local Government divisions. This breadth of experience combined with his service delivery background in his career, forms a strong platform to lead Civica’s Health and Care support functions, as we drive to deliver support services with quality, consistency and customers’ needs at the heart of the function.
