Civica is a top provider of software and consultancy services to public sector organisations. This role sits in our housing and asset management software business unit. They offer industry leading software used widely by councils and housing associations.
Reporting to the Product Director this exciting and rewarding role will focus on the product development of Civica Housing’s development projects including Cx Asset Management and other innovative projects as part of Civica Housing’s product roadmap deliverables.
As part of the focused team to deliver overall product development and releases there is a requirement for a Project Manager to oversee all project related matters for delivery of successful projects and product offerings across the Housing and Asset Management suite of products.
The role is to plan, organise, direct and oversee the delivery of project, coordinating programmes and staff accordingly. This includes exploiting opportunities, managing risk and achieving project cost, schedule and performance requirements. The role will provide the glue that holds projects together, by providing the governance and associated reporting required to Project Board on performance.
Suitable candidates will have experience in a project or programme management role working on software development projects. Experience working to agile methodology and working with off shore teams would be preferred. You’ll also need to show excellent project governance and financial management experience combined with excellent stakeholder management skills.
