So what is the legislation?
The Public Sector Bodies Accessibility Regulations 2018 (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No.2) have stated that:
- New public sector websites published on or after 23 September 2018 need to comply with regulation by 23rd September 2019
- All other public sector websites by 23rd September 2020
- Public sector mobile applications by 23rd June 2021
