Nominal Set-Up
This two hour online course is suitable for users of Civica Payroll software and would be useful for someone who has minimal experience in setting up nominals or who is looking to change their nominal structure.
Key Learning Points:
- How to input nominal codes
- How to group nominals
- How to create a CSV extract that can be sent to a finance department/imported into a financial system
- Changes to nominal structure including:
- Departments
- Cost Centres
- Classifications
- Input and Deduction codes
- Account Control
- Nominal Descriptions
- CSV Extracts
Dates: 16th July, 15th August and 19th September.
Time: 14:30pm.
Costs: £250 for first delegate then £150 for additional bookings.
Pensions CSV Extracts
This one hour online course is suitable for users of Civica Payroll software who need to create a pension CSV extract in a format required by their pension provider.
Key Learning Points:
- How to replicate your pension provider’s file layout
- The actions needed in the paygroup to achieve this outcome i.e. employee pension reference numbers or auto enrolment data
- The actions needed to extract the report.
Dates: 16th July, 15th August and 19th September.
Time: 10:00am.
Costs: £125 for first delegate then £100 for additional bookings.
Teachers' Pensions Extract
This one hour online course is suitable for schools using Civica Payroll software who need to upload the Monthly Data Collection and Monthly Return onto the Teachers Pensions Employer Portal. This session will explain how to set up the payroll group to ensure both reports contain the correct data.
Key Learning Points:
- Schools Establishments and LA Number setup.
- Set up requirements within a paygroup to ensure the reports extract the correct data.
- The actions needed to extract the reports.
Dates: 16th July and 19th September.
Time: 12:30pm
Costs: £125 for first delegate then £100 for additional bookings.
