Introducing Civica HR & Payroll 5.16

Our latest major update for HR and Payroll will be released in March 2019. 5.16 is a mandatory release for Civica Payroll Software users with a significant number of legislative additions. However, this is not simply a “Payroll release”: as a company we have identified areas which we know our users are asking us to improve on.

HMRC legislative changes

This release includes all the changes required to ensure HR and Payroll remains HMRC compliant and allow for a simple year end process. We can confirm that Civica Payroll v5.16 will support:

Real-time KPI dashboard for managers

Enhancements to the Self-Service Manager dashboard to show real time employee activity and statistics supporting effective leadership.

New features for schools

A range of features to help deliver greater value from systems and data while supporting regulatory compliance. Real-time MIS connectivity for improved efficiency and data accuracy: automated data share with School MIS, including Capita SIMS, iSAMS and Progresso. Simplified and accurate Maternity, Sickness and Pension administration including links to i-Connect. Suite of statutory and commonly requested reports included for quick and easy access to data.

Payroll bureau portal

Our online portal enables authorised users to exchange information with their payroll provider in a way that is simple, secure and auditable, promoting efficiency and accuracy. A useful addition to any organisation with a devolved infrastructure and centralised payroll function.

HR mobile app

Our new app complements the Civica HR Payroll Self-Service module by enabling employees to easily view information and to make requests using a smart phone or tablet. Powered by our Web API installed on a secure web server, the app uses encrypted communication for enhanced data security and is fully integrated with Civica HR, Payroll and Time and Attendance. The native app is available for employees to download for free from the iOS and Android App Stores. Administrators have full control over the features made available to users.
