Recognising and rewarding
Civica provides a fantastic platform to recognise others, giving that motivational push which we all need from time to time. In particular, the annual Civica Awards are a fair way to acknowledge different people for an array of reasons with well thought out categories. It’s Civica’s rational approach to upward and downward feedback which makes it a great place to work.

When our people work hard, we notice. We not only recognise high performance with Praise, a platform for our people to thank each other for their contributions, but we reward it too. For going the extra mile, our people can earn CSTARs (Civica Special Thanks And Recognition), points that can be accrued to exchange on products or experiences. Each year we host our annual Employee Awards, held in Australia, the UK and India, and in 2018 we received more than 1,000 nominations across the globe.
Underpinning rewarding our people is through our highly competitive benefits package, as happy and healthy people are the heartbeat of Civica. Our people can tailor their benefits to their specific needs and goals, such as life insurance, additional holidays and cycle-to-work.
We’ve also significantly enhanced our health and wellbeing provision for our people. We’ve partnered with Best Doctors and Red Arc to give a more rounded support for our people and families who may be faced with a long-term condition, alongside our Employee Assistance Program and online Wellbeing Hub. In 2019, we launched our Mental Health Champions in the business - employees trained as mental health first aiders on hand to identify signs of mental ill health in colleagues and to encourage more positive mental wellbeing.
