There’s certainly more to charity than a line on the company accounts and Civica not only encourages but really demonstrates this.

We have a global strategy but a local focus. Through the Civica Foundation, we create social value out in local communities through a range of charities and community projects.
We’re committed to the learning and development of young people, particularly by encouraging a career in technology for those of all ages and genders. Our people have mentored school-age children and judged their innovation at regional finals for UK charity Young Enterprise, and some of our people in Australia have even taken on the Three Peaks Challenge in aid of Whitelion.
Our ‘Donate-a-day’ benefit gives our people a free day for volunteering, with some having used it to support local charities and community projects, and also attend our annual Civica Group Golf Memorial Day in aid of Cancer Research.
We also support Byte Night each October and spend a night under the stars, braving the elements in aid of Action for Children; co-ordinate an annual Tour de Civica cycling, running and walking event to support a variety of charities, and organise the Tales of S creative writing competition to showcase the talents of young Singaporeans.
On an even more local level, our people never fail in discovering new ways of supporting their communities. Each year, colleagues collect Easter eggs for hospitals and hospices and selection boxes for foodbanks to support low income families during the school holidays when children won’t benefit from school meals, and fundraise for charities close to their loved ones.
