End of support (EOS) means the end of vital security updates. If you're running software on SQL Server 2008/2008 R2, Windows Server 2008/2008 R2 or Windows 7, Civica can support you through EOS to ensure your systems remain secure and your data protected.

How long do I have?
SQL server 2008 and 2008 R2 reached end of support on the 9th July 2019. For Windows Server 2008 and Windows 7, you have until the 14th January 2020.
What are the options?
- Migrate to the cloud and benefit from the latest security, performance and innovation, alongside regular security updates.
If you cannot upgrade to the latest version of Windows/SQL server before the deadline, you can re-host your workloads in Azure and get three years of extended security updates at no additional charge, giving you peace of mind that your servers are secure whilst you plan your migration. - Secure your on-premise environment by upgrading to the latest version of Windows Server or SQL Server.
Again, if you're unable to upgrade your on-premise systems in time, you can still purchase extended security updates for your servers running Windows and SQL serve 2008 and 2008 R2. You'll only pay for the servers you need to cover annually, enabling you to control costs as you plan your upgrade.
