We are a 23 strong business unit of internal and external sales, finance, support and development staff based in Reading. Due to an internal career move, we require a Software Support Operative. The ideal candidate will have been in a PC hardware, software support, finance or facilities role within the education sector for at least two years. Although a Work from Home position you will need to have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle, You could travel and stay anywhere in England to assist in carrying out on site services during peak times. You will report directly to the Support Team Lead.

Your work from home role will include:

  • Taking support calls, livechat and emails from our schools and MATs, and ensuring we adhere to our service level agreements.
  • Be proactive in ensuring customers past support cases are still resolved by phone calls, livechat and email.
  • Provide remote, online training of Parago to schools and MATs
  • Contribute to the monthly cycle of testing necessary in the version releases
  • Contribute to maintaining the system documentation, training materials including video content

Your occasional offsite role will include:

  • Services including adding inventory, IT and facilities assets

Full training will be provided on the Parago solution, and our internal and Civica systems. You will need to demonstrate how you work reactively and proactively to improve customer support in your current and any past roles.
