Civica COVID-19 Update

We continue to monitor the current situation closely and to remain focused and take all appropriate steps to safeguard the health and wellbeing of our employees, customers, partners and communities around the globe and to maintain business continuity.

Our response continues to evolve guided by the advice and facts provided by the Governments and Health Ministries of the UK, Australia, Singapore, India and the US. I would like to thank all of our employees for their outstanding response during these difficult times and to applaud our customers for their fantastic support for people and communities.

We have taken the necessary steps to enable our employees in all regions to work from home having already completed successful trial closures of our facilities. We have a strong infrastructure and, supported by our existing cloud foundation and unified communications and our existing flexible and remote working policies and practices, we continue to proceed with our business activities.

In those countries where movement of individuals is restricted, including the UK, we have closed our facilities with access only for the minimum number of people for absolutely necessary activities in support of critical services.

We are committed to ensuring minimum disruption to our operations. We have augmented, updated and tested our Business Continuity Plan (which complies with ISO 22301) and provided enhanced support and guidance for managed remote working with increased provision of equipment. We continue to review and test our procedures actively.

We are committed to supporting our customers who we appreciate deliver the most essential services. We are working hard and doing all we can to maintain normal services including via our virtual meeting infrastructure and remote delivery methods where appropriate.

With our strong focus on putting our people first we are providing a programme of regular internal communication and updates, including a dedicated intranet site and support resources. We have provided specific guidelines to monitor arrangements for any employees in a high-risk group.

We have also identified a number of immediate areas where our software might support public services through the current pandemic and which we can make available.

We appreciate the situation is changing rapidly and remain fully committed to supporting public health and maintaining our business operations.
