The Head of Development role is a leadership role accountable for the successful technical delivery and strategic planning of the product/platform.
Managing the functions of software development, quality assurance and taking a hands-on approach, the Head of Development will work together with relevant stakeholders particularly Head of Product/Product Owner to deliver to a high level of quality and to an agreed schedule.
The Head of Development along with The Head of Product/Product Owner will drive the product strategy from a technological perspective and have full technical ownership.
You will manage multidisciplinary teams using agile methods, in an open and collaborative working environment. You need to be passionate about leading a team delivering innovative and quality solutions.
This role will ultimately be responsible for designing and developing a complex probabilistic matching engine on the Azure cloud platform that is capable of processing millions/billions of records in a performant manor whilst being highly interopable with other systems. It will require logical thinking and complex algorithm design and implementation.
