We hope that you can join us at this breakfast event for school leaders and managers. 
Our product, support and development team members will be present to show you the highlights and newest developments for our Civica Education Suite (CES). 

INTERSTATE GUEST SPEAKER: Damien Brotherton from Catholic Education Northern Territory

We warmly welcome Damien to this event, who will be speaking about the rollout of the Civica Education Suite in the Northern Territory. It will also be an opportunity for you to ask him questions about the roll out that may help you in your own future planning. 

Damien Brotherton is current Acting IT Manager Catholic Education Office. He has 11 years’ service with Catholic Education Northern Territory (CENT), the last 3 years as Senior Systems Coordinator. 

CENT currently has 5 remote and 11 urban schools and ~5000 students across the Northern Territory. CENT is made up of 36% Indigenous Students, 32%  Special Needs and ~600 overseas students. CENT has been using Maze since 2004 and eMaze since 2008. Damien has experience scoping, implementing, maintaining, operating and training in both platforms. 

Damien is the Internal Project Manager for the CENT CES Maze replacement, and TechnologyOne Finance System rollout. CENT remote schools have been operating on CES since Term 3 2016, Urban school rollout to commence 2018.

The session schedule is as follows, so you can come for the entire event, or just stay for the part that you are most interested in.

    • 8:00 – 8:30 : Breakfast served
    • 8:30 – 9.30 : Company and Civica Education Suite Updates
    • 9.30 - 10.00 : Guest Speaker Damien Brotherton
    • 10:00 – 11:00 Workshop sessions:
    • 1. Timetabling Focus Group (demo of our new web-based timetabling solution with subsequent discussion)

3. General Q and A + networking 

Who should attend?
The product update session will be aimed at both business managers and practitioners. It will provide a high level insight into the features and benefits of CES, 
Everyone will get something out of the workshop sessions, be it by networking with our support staff or attending a technical session. 
We are especially encouraging you to invite those involved in timetabling to come along to our timetabling focus group.
